GPS on the Ferry

GPS on the Ferry

A little over a week ago I drove to Victoria, BC, to visit my family. This involved, of course, a trip on the ferry from Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay. I had just purchased a GPS device and was trying it out. It usually shows a map with a pink line for the road you are on, and a little car driving along the road. I had programmed it to lead me to the hotel where I was going to stay in Victoria. I turned it on while I was waiting for the ferry to dock, and I noticed it showed the car as being in the water, along with the heading telling me to continue to Highway 17! I thought this would make an interesting photo, and I am linking it with Sweet Shot Tuesday. Does your GPS device do “tricks” like this? I’d love to hear about them in the comments.

Sounds like a walking on water incident? Lol or driving on water, hahahaha. I couldn’t resist Diane.

  2. Haha! Thanks, Kristine! I hadn’t thought of that – I guess I was driving on the water! lol
